50/50 RAFFLE RULES
The winning ticket will be randomly chosen during the afternoon of the Festival on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
Offer to participate is not open to the Temple’s staff directly involved in the raffle.
Winner need not be present to win. If not present, winner will be notified by mail, phone or e-mail, as determined by Temple Emanuel in its sole discretion. Winner will have 60 days to claim the prize or it will be forfeited without compensation of any kind. If winner cannot be contacted despite reasonable efforts of Temple Emanuel, prize will be forfeited without compensation of any kind. Temple Emanuel reserves the right to award the prize to an alternate winner selected from among all remaining raffle tickets sold.
Failure to pay for ticket in full at time of purchase (or, if paying via check, if transaction is invalidated) voids raffle ticket and will result in immediate disqualification.
The grand prize is 50% of ticket sales up to a maximum prize of $5,000.
The prize goes to the "ticket holder of record" as reflected in the records of Temple Emanuel. A "ticket holder of record" is defined as the person whose name is on the event ticket. Temple Emanuel reserves the right to condition prize award on ticket holder of record establishing identity to Temple Emanuel’s satisfaction via photo identification and/or proof of purchase of raffle ticket.
Winner shall be liable for payment of any State and Federal taxes due on any prize accepted. Temple Emanuel makes no representation or warranty that the raffle ticket purchase price is tax-deductible.
The final word in all transactions and/or disputes shall be that of the Temple; this includes but is not limited to conduct of the raffle drawing and determination of identity of ticket holder of record. And, by purchasing a raffle ticket, you agree to abide by and be bound by the Temple’s decisions.
The Temple can cancel the event at any time in its sole discretion and refund to ticket holders the price paid for the ticket. Return of the price paid shall be the ticket holder’s sole recourse and remedy.
A maximum of 5,000 raffle tickets will be made available for sale but odds of winning depend on the number of raffle tickets actually sold.
Purchasing a ticket is no guarantee of winning a prize.
